We held an Ellaroo Wrap Colorway Contest this summer and announced the winner in September. Then I promised to take y’all along for the ride to getting the Wrap off the page and into reality. Well, there must be some good luck in making the process public, because the samples are back and they’re perfect!

That’s never happened before. No, really. Not that I’m complaining. So now we have the 14 sample Wraps that the weavers sent us for inspection. When we talked to our contact on the phone, they were just raving about how beautiful the Wrap is. Well done, Britt!

The next step is to place a production order. The weavers will buy a larger batch of yarn and dye them to the colors that they perfected for the samples. We have to get our order in quickly. December is a terrible month to get anything done in a Catholic country. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Oh, and for you Wrap junkies out there: I modified the winning design just slightly. The rails are different colors. You’re welcome.
