Wrap Design Contest
The entries are in, they are as great as last year - maybe better! - and you can see all 224! of them in the 2007 Gallery. The team at Ellaroo has had the fun but difficult challenge of narrowing the competition down to just 8 finalists. We love them all. Now it’s up to you to pick this year’s winner, and then over the next few months that design will be transformed into reality and become the newest colorway offered in Ellaroo’s line of hand-woven cotton Wraparound Baby Carriers.
You can vote right here until November 15th, and so can your friends and family so send them a link to help support your favorite design!
Not only can you help choose the winner, but you could win a prize - we’ll hold a random draw among those who leave a comment about which design you chose and why. (Don’t include personal contact information in your comment, just fill in the email field and we’ll contact you there for your address if you win). Prize winners can choose between the final Wrap winner or one of our new Baby Bags, which are due to launch in early January, 2008 (check them out here).

I have to admit I was swayed in my decision by trying to think “genderless,” or rather ying-yang. Since I don’t know what my future grandchild is, boy or girl… I was looking for a color scheme that could go either way. So, #98 was all about me and my imaginary (at this time) grandchild. To me, it shouted, “we are bold, colorful, unafraid, and a dynamic duo… my grandma and me!” #201 ran a close second. Thanks.

I love the shades of green in 91. On my computer it looks like the other stripes are chocolate, so the design reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Yummy to wear and a great gender neutral design.
